I'm giving this 5 stars because not only was it well written and kept me engaged, it also managed to keep me guessing as to who the killer was until the last 35-40 pages. I've usually got that all figured out for sure by half way through a book, so kudos to Gerritsen for keeping enough plausible culprits in play until that close to the end.

Tess Gerritson is the mistress of suspense, action and mystery!! I was not disappointed in this well-crafted tale that takes us from Boston to Botswana!! Amazing plot twists and wonderful new characters. I heard Tess talk about this book a couple of weeks ago telling of her time in he African bush and her experiences on safari with her husband. Great to read another Rizzoli & Isles and they're both in top form! Great book and I can't wait for the next one!
A compelling, well-written mystery! At times I was grossed out by some of the descriptions, but the part of the story set in Africa kept me glued to my seat!
This was a page turner and unputdownable.
I liked the way the story took you to Botswana, then back to Boston. That way you got as much of the back story as was required.
The characters were well written and the story engrossing.
The interplay between Rizzolli and Isles is so good and they feed off each other.
This novel revolves around murders, big cats and hunting for game. A murder is committed that brings Rizzolli and Isles into contact with a zoo. From there we learn things about the murdered person and some of his back life.
If you like thrillers you will like this one. I would recommend it.
