GREAT BOOK! He does have a lot of patient stories interwoven with his own relationship- first marriage why it failed and his present one. Psychologists married to psychologists. Big point- it is not about me, but about US as a relationship. Would highly recommend this book for a more satisfying relationship.

The message is 5 stars. The messenger is 2 stars. There are so many things wrong in the delivery of the material but so much right in its impact. I will read this book again and I will learn and grow from it for many years. But, I will always wish for it to be repackaged in a better way.

The first sections of this book were great and really insightful. the book was pretty straight and male oriented, but still enjoyed reading it and found it valuable!
