"I never got over that."

"What?"

"How well you kiss. Over the last seven years. I went on so many dates, I tried to fall in love again and again, and all I could think about was you."

4'75 / 5 deserved and VERY enjoyed stars. AW.

This book was such a beautiful experience. The mix between the grief and love was perfect, it gave a realistic image of the world, it wasn't all sweet and fake.

I LOVED how Clementine grew, her character changed so much, and discovered a lot about herself, which was amazing and beautiful. She really made me want to follow my dreams, to have adventures and live my life. Also, all the characters were FANTASTIC. They gave magic to the story, made it special and even more interesting. Its characters made it perfect.

IWAN- JAMES IWAN ASHTON.WOW. It's been a while since I last read a book with a love interest that was SO sweet. He was sweet, lovely, interesting, funny, etc. He was so good, like he understood her perfectly, didn't force anything on Clementine. He was kind, and that's something I appreciated a lot, even after 7 years, after changing so much, he was still kind. And damn, even if I haven't seen it, I fell in love with how she described his eyes and his smile, his touch and his voice. His words were so sweet, like caresses. Another book boyfriend for the list.

I have to say, some chapters where quite boring, but like three chapters. And sometimes the grief topic was too much, like yeah, I loved it and ik the grief was a BIG part of the book but sometimes it was overwhelming. That's why I gave it 4 and not 5, bc it took me off a bit. But for everything else, this book was cheff kiss.

So beautiful written-

I would give more than 5 star. Really interesting read and great plot. Something different than your typical romance book.

This was such a delightful read. I was immediately invested in the main character and her love interest. The magical element in this book was just right, not too cheesy. Ashley Poston’s writing is such fun to read and you really feel like you are along for the journey with her characters. The only reason I didn’t give 5/5 was because the last chapter felt slightly disjointed from the rest of the book but not enough to ruin the story.

"I loved how a book, a story, a set of words in a sentence organized in the exact right order, made you miss places you’ve never visited, and people you’ve never met."

This book is the right one for those girls for whom "About Time" marked a before and after in our lives. We meet Clementine, a woman about to turn 30 with the doubts of any woman at that age. In order to clear her mind, she decides to go to her aunt's flat for a while, a magical flat, because when you open its door, you can travel in time: 7 years in the past or 7 years in the future, but always 7 years (what a lucky number, I guess).

In one of these unexpected trips, Clementine meets Iwan, the son of one of her aunt's friends, who is going to stay in the apartment for a while, while Clem's aunt is travelling. this last piece of information is what makes Clem see that she has travelled back in time TO THE PAST.

Her aunt has always told Clementine that the magical flat has only two rules: take your shoes off at the hall and don't fall in love, but those boundaries become very blurred in Clementine's adventure.

"That was love, wasn't it? It wasn't just a quick drop -- it was falling, over and over again, for your person. It was falling as they became new people. It was learning how to exist with every new breath. It was uncertain and it was undeniably hard, and it wasn't something you could plan for.

What can I say about this story? I liked it a lot, despite not being much, it makes you have a great time: laugh, cry, get angry but, above all, learn, because in 7 years, things can change a lot, as well as people.
