I wish there was a little more of the present time romance aspect but I really loved the concept of this book

Nothing life changing here but I enjoyed it. A little silly, a bit ridiculous but I had a good time.

I didn’t hate it. I’m not a big romance book girl, but this one had good reviews and had an interesting premise so I gave it a try. This wasn’t a terrible book. It was a good time. It was entirely too predictable. I had everything figured out within the first 70 pages. The characters were likable, but they weren’t very relatable and they feel kind of flat. Also, some of the writing was repetitive, which was a little bit annoying. The food description on this book was amazing and was unexpected. Overall, it was a feel good book, it just didn’t knock me off my feet and it’s not something that’s going to stick with me forever.
