I wasn't really prepared for this as I thought it was going to be a fun, cozy small town romance. This was not that. I enjoyed it, but there is a lot of angst and drama. I also had a hard time with the audiobook specifically because there is much more on-page time for the FMC and I did not like her narrator as much as the MMC's narrator. The female narrator had a ton of vocal fry that I found grating.

Though there is no actual cheating, there are two incidents of assumed cheating. One the times, the MMC thinks it is funny. Very solid romance with a great semi second chance trope. Beckett was a wonderful alpha male and I love to see their relationship grow and unfold.
