I wasn't really prepared for this as I thought it was going to be a fun, cozy small town romance. This was not that. I enjoyed it, but there is a lot of angst and drama. I also had a hard time with the audiobook specifically because there is much more on-page time for the FMC and I did not like her narrator as much as the MMC's narrator. The female narrator had a ton of vocal fry that I found grating.

So she gets sorta kidnapped at the end and for what? It’s so rushed and didn’t even make sense. Like the other dude was creepy and this dude was just kinda there I guess so when it turns out second dude it the bad guy it didn’t really seem to fit everything.
