Rhonan warrior Daegan (H) is on a mission to search and rescue Earth women when he boards the trafficking ship operated by the Mangox. Elena (h) bought a ticket for a space pleasure cruise, unaware that she would be taken captive. The rescue effort goes awry and the Mangox opt to self-destruct their vessel, and Daegan and Elena are forced to escape in an emergency pod crashing into a nearby planet. Facing hazards on the planet, Daegan and Elena find themselves forced together as things get hot and steamy between the two, aided by Daegan’s special eggplant. The relationship between the two is great - she's just as strong in the relationship as he is and he’s not just a possessive muscled alien but rather he cares for Elena and would follow her anywhere. Lovely alien fated mates romance with a plenty of ultra-hot and steamy sexy goodness. It was fun and engaging from beginning to end.

An entertaining read, novella length. This is a super fast-paced, action/adventure alien sci-fi romance.

Elena and Daegan escape the Mangox ship, hippo-bear like alien thugs, in an escape pod and crash land on a planet. The action is non-stop for these fated mates.

Daegan and Elena both feel something when they hear each other’s name indicating they are fated mates. There is minimal to no angst in this short read, but plenty of adventure and danger.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is exactly the quick read that I needed to cleanse my book palate.

It was fast paced, spicy, funny, and had lots of my favorite sci-fi romance tropes, from fated mates to wilderness survival to an unexpectedly adorable sidekick. I don't want to spoil too much on that front, but let's just say that it had me feeling the same way I felt about the otter-based mail delivery service in Sarah Maas's Crescent City.

Our protagonist, Elena, is a boricua security officer from Earth's first deep space vessel who was captured by bad-guy aliens to be sold as a slave. She is rescued by our good-guy alien hero, the warrior Daegan, who has cool metal tattoos and thinks that this feisty little human might be his fated mate. All hell breaks loose as they try to escape, and the two of them are forced to get to know each other (and explore their instant attraction) on a strange planet where their escape pod crash lands.

If you like a brawny alien hero who likes to take charge in the bedroom, you're going to like Daegan.

I will definitely pick up the next book in the series when I need something short, sweet, and interstellar.

If you have not read at least the first book of the series this is a prequel for, It's not very good. Since a lot of backstory is told there and we're dumped in the middle of things and we're supposed to know said backstory, it gets very confusing. The other thing is that all conflicts are solved way too easily, and it makes the tension dissapear. And the fMC is not funny at all. I didn't even understand half her jokes.

Alien’s Getaway, a prequel novella for the upcoming Lost Brides & Alien Warriors series, is an action-packed, steamy read.

Elena, a human security officer now captive on a pleasure cruiser, finds an opportunity to escape. However, when she is joined by Rhonar warrior, Daegan, in her escape, things get…interesting. When Daegan starts calling her his fated mate, could he be right?

I loved both the MCs in this story. Elena is fierce and strong, a warrior in her own right. Daegan is deliciously protective. And let’s not forget the florin—the true star of the show!

I highly recommend this novella for those in the mood for a fast-paced read with alien warriors, plenty of steam, and lots of action. Looking forward to the series!
