Just too sweet. I really can't get enough of this new trend of people writing children's books about what they would have liked to read about when they were younger. We're getting so many great stories out of this.

Aww what a sweet story. It promotes love for your hair especially to those who usually are told it's not good enough or pretty enough.. As someone who has hair with a mind of its own as well... Maaan I can relate! Loved it
However, it was recently made into a movie short and i watched that first.. Perhaps a bad idea? I dunno. There was more explanation about mom at the end of the movie short than in the book..so I was looking for it but it didn't come. It now almost feels like the book ended prematurely.

A great book with great pictures by Vashti Harrison. Zuri has fantastic hair that can be all kinds of different ways. On this special day, Daddy and Zuri watch a video together and figure out how to make her hair perfect for her mom's return home! Also a great cat.
A much more meaningful book than I originally expected. It includes an amazing relationship between father and daughter, self-love, and working together. I adored this book.
Love this story of a dad trying to get a handle on his daughter's hair. Sweet perspective.
