Better than the second that's for sure but still not that good sadly.

An excellent follow-up to the 2 first books. The first half drove me crazy, what with Nora's memory-loss and all, but it all was AMAZING! Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys supernatural romance...

Nora literally does not learn from her mistakes?? Or have any character development? And all the side characters are basically walking tropes, even this late in the series. I'm a bit exasperated at all the plot holes too, but I absolutely get that this is a teen romance novel and plot comes secondhand.

What a weird plot twist at the beginning. Was not expecting the memory loss portion?

Good, but seemed to have a more hectic plot than the first two books. Maybe it was my hate for some of the characters.. and where is this kids mom??? Someone should get Child Services on the phone.

I am tired of reading books with Twilight similarities. Patch acted so much like Edward that it sickened me. And Nora, oh dear, she is worse than Bella. I can't even count how many times Patch had to save her because of her own stupidity. If I walked into a store that I was certain was being robbed, I would get out of there as fast as I could. I wouldn't trick the robber into letting me back into the store to see what was going on and then realize that I was in danger and run for my life, only to be caught two seconds later. Nora also treats her mom like crap when she discovers that her mom is dating Hank. If my mom was dating someone that I hated then I would not treat her the way Nora did. I would disapprove of the guy but not degrade my mom and have a tantrum over it. Speaking of drama, Nora is a drama queen throughout the novel, always whining about why she lost her memory and doing stupid things that involves dangerous situations. Half of the things wouldn't have happened in the novel, and Nora would still be human, if she just did what she was told and actually used her brain. All in all, this book was basically a combination of Hush, Hush and Crescendo since Nora had to relearn everything about angels and Patch since she lost her memory thanks to Hank and Patch. The only new event happened at the end when Hank nabs Nora and forces her to swear an oath to become the army of the Nephilims if he were to die. And of course he dies twenty pages later so Nora is now the leader. So the novel ends with a war brewing between the Nephilims and archangels, Nora and Patch still deeply in love with each other, Scott deeply in love with Nora, and Nora and Patch as natural enemies.

4.5 stars. Review to come.
