WOW. This series is amazing! This book relates to the last season Netflix aired. It was very close to the same plot as the series, but with subtle differences. I can’t wait to read the next two books in this series, because I have no idea what’s going to happen next! I can’t wait to find out! Michael Connelly is one of my top 3 legal thriller authors! If you have not had the chance to check out his books, what are you waiting for?

Mickey Haller, Bosch's half-brother, is back. He's defending a man who basically is an internet pimp. The buy is accused of a murder and Haller probes to find who did him wrong. It's a fascinating glimpse into the thinking of a defense lawyer, and as is always the case Connelly mixes tension, character development, setting and dialogue, oh and pacing, all to good advantage. A good solid, engaging read.

I love the Lincoln Lawyer books. Fast paced. Fun read.

Mickey's back. He's off the wagon, he's not at the top of his game, and he's about to pick up a case that's going to put him through the wringer. It's another outstanding Haller novel, but you will really feel for the guy before this book is through.

WOW! WHAT A GREAT PLOT! Mickey is a good guy after all.

A solid effort in a well done series

I enjoy the way Michael Connelly explores both sides of the adversarial system of law practiced in this country. I find myself routing for the prosecution and police in one book only to find myself routing for the defense in the next. This book was perhaps a bit over the top but it held me spellbound until the end. Mr. Connelly's books never go the way I predict they will. I look forward to his next Mickey Haller saga.
