Never before have I read a book my the famous Palahniuk (whose name I am still unsure how to pronounce) but this odd styling of writing, which is intimidating at first, draws me in with each and every chapter.

Whoever reads that and loves it needs to see a therapist. Or the police.

This book started slow and annoyingly. By the end of the book I was much more into reading it. If there is a sequel (as is somewhat hinted at) I would read it. Definitely not Palahniuk's best work though.

I might listen to this again next year, or the year after that. Or whenever I have time to listen to senseless blabbering.

DID NOT FINISH

I keep trying to convince myself that I like this author-I need to give up already!

There is just something about Palahniuk's writing that I've always been attracted to and that keeps me reading his work. "Damned" was yet another brilliantly written story by him. Our narrator Madison Spencer just so happens to be 13-years-old and condemned to Hell. With her dead Breakfast Club friends a timid young girl finds her power. The twists and turns are incredible. Highly recommend.
