funny lighthearted reflective medium-paced

I read this after reading the intro to a new copy of Rosemary's baby by Palahniuk. I realised I needed to reread something or read something I hadn't read.

This was dark humour, with comment on current social norms (standard). It was at times exceptionally clever, but I don't think it had the depth, darkness, or horrific humour of some of the others I've read by the author. I still enjoyed it, just seemed like Palahniuk lite.

One of my favorite Christmas presents. (:

Brilliant, humorous, grotesque satire.

Chuck’s ability to describe events happening in the book is unlike anything I’ve ever read.  Very evocative and silly (in a good way).
