Hay algo especial en un libro que tiene un tono tan ligero y propio de la literatura juvenil relatando horrores tan realistas y que se sienten tan vigentes. Me gustó muchísimo, se sintió muy humano y muy personal al mismo tiempo. 
Fue un poco raro encontrar un espejo a mis preguntas y dudas infantiles en medio del fin del mundo. Me va a perseguir por un rato.

Whew. Probably should have checked the CWs before starting this? Would recommend that you do, if you're considering reading this.

I spent a whole lot of time while I was reading  trying to figure out if I even liked it, and I still don't have an answer. Kinda loved the last sentence, though, which was actually what I'd been wanting the whole book but didn't dare hope for. Probably going to bump Maeve Fly up my TBR now.

Thank you, CJ Leede, for identifying and healing my small town religious trauma. I often hate stories that revolve around a journey, but this novel has a lot of emotional depth and character development.
