MAGICAL!!!! tender and sad and beautiful. a true romance, even outside of master and margarita's relationship ....i absorbed so much of this story straight into my skin and heart, so it's hard to put it into words, but i get it ...i get it, and thats what makes it sadder and more beautiful. art is magic beyond time and corporeal nature...AGHHH

I think I would have enjoyed this more...
- If I was in a different headspace (too much stress in my life to enjoy an absurdist book - but also feeling the need to finish it bc something something reading challenge?).
- If I weren't trying to hybrid the printed version, the digital version, and the paper version.... and all these weren't different translations
- If I were able to focus on it more (see above. Stress.)
- If I had more background in Soviet Era politics / more biblical literacy.
