3.5 it started a little slowly, but it was a nice slow-burn... it didn't give me tons of feels but it was a nice Christmas story all the same

Another great novel in the series. I really enjoyed this series and how real the characters are. Definitely recommend for a light fun romance read tucked into the couch with a cat or two.

Usel bok som försökte vara sofistikerad men egentligen bara var för hästtjejer (såklart finns det bra hästtjejer, jag är bara irriterad) Jag rekommenderar definitivt inte denna boken och om det inte var en biblioteksbok skulle jag definitivt eldat upp den eller iallafall förstört varenda en av sidorna. Jag får nu nöja mig med att lämna tillbaka boken med en riktigt sur grimasch.

I didn’t like this at all. The h, Mattie, was fine. She was likable enough but not amazing or anything. The H was garbage though. He was annoying. There was a whole but about him writing his thesis on romance novels and alpha heroes. He has a mentor/ex insult him about not being alpha so he goes around wooing women and getting their numbers etc. the thing is he IS NOT alpha at all, he’s one of the most beta heroes I’ve come across. Meh.
There’s one point when he’s habitually being a inconsiderate thoughtless jerk and when she finally snaps her so called friends and co- workers chastise her for being mean to him. Talk about gaslighting. I only finished listening because I was in the middle of wrapping presents and couldn’t be hassled to find another audiobook.
This was not good.

Eu gostei da história, era a leveza que estava precisando para os últimos dias. Houveram algumas coisas que me incomodaram durante a leitura, mas o sentimento de acabar uma leitura que se passa no Natal, com livros, livraria, cafés e doces foi gostoso. Em geral não é uma série incrível mas foi uma série gostosa de ler. Gostei também de no final terem pequenas atualizações de todos os casais e me emocionei com Lavinia sempre presente.
