Jest to zbiór różnych opowiadań o Bogach Nordyckich i powstaniu świata i wielu innych rzeczy. Wszystkie są napisane na tym samym poziomie, w miarę wciągające i dobrze przedstawione. Nie jest to nic nadzwyczajnego, lepsze chyba dla tych, co wiedzą mniej o tej mitologii. Dobre na odstresowanie się, bo historie choć ciekawe, nie są zbyt skomplikowane.

All the stories are really well done, not with a monotonous tone that relays the events of the story, but with each character receiving an inferred personality. One thing missing is the history of the stories and perhaps some discussion of their interpretation(s).
I wanted to read this pretty much since it came out, and I finally had some time to do so today. I'm already familiar with Norse myths, but it was fun reading them through Neil's interpretation. I'm honestly not sure how to properly review this.
All of the myths are fascinating and a little strange. They can be pretty brutal at times, but the creativity of the people who crafted these myths is so fascinating. These have been some of my favorite stories since I studied mythology in school, and grew to love them more thanks to Valkyrie Profile. Just don't go in letting the MCU influence your expectations, because Norse gods are not like their comic book counterparts.
Still, they're a lot of fun to read. There are definitely some moments that are humorous, as well as the violent and disturbing moments as well. If you've never read anything on Norse mythology before, this is a good way to be introduced.

Rarely does someone possess the extraordinary talent and deep passion for mythology that Neil Gaiman exhibits. His interpretation of these ancient Norse tales is nothing short of enchanting and impeccably executed. Despite their classic nature, he adeptly elevates them to ensure they remain engaging for modern audiences while staying faithful to the source materials. I found myself utterly captivated by these myths, thoroughly swept away into their world.
