Anyone ever seen the tv show Warehouse 13? Well this gives me vibes for that show only paranormal romance.
I think because of the fact that it was similar to Warehouse 13 made me very invested in the story and I really enjoyed it!
It was a fun fast read, once i got stuck into after work i couldn't put it down.

The characters are fun, Fraser is more torturered because of his past and he can be a little bish about it, it is understandable. I wasn't a fan of the miscommunication between Fraser and Daphne, especially with what Fraser said about being able to know stuff about her before she did... Surely then he'd know her feelings were real and not just the bite stuff... Although i guess he was wary because he was hiding himself. The ending of the main story was kinda sad, Fraser veing so worried and locking himself away like he did.
The epilogue was fun but could have been better and longer with like a reunion at the Secret Archive with her friends as well but ehat do i know, I'm not a writer

Beauty and her Beast

3.75⭐/Slow Burn to Inferno

Witches, Goblins, Orcs, Dragons Werewolves and more, they're all real. The Secret Archives, well they work with the supernatural community to catalogue and obtain dangerous artifacts. Sort of like the tv show Warehouse 13.
Daphne runs the department that catalogs very special artifacts alongside a mothman and a ghost. The new director of the Archives is trying to regain the trust of the staff as well as the sup community after the previous one left death, destruction and chaos in her wake.

When Fraser MacDonald of Scotland, a very big bad wolf needs help as his brother has obviously been influenced by an artifact right before his hand fasting that could cause a war if not rectified...the Archives is the last place he wants to go. When he meets Daphne though, this bonny lass gets his motor revving like no one has ever before. Her scent...she smells like, home. When it's revealed she has to go undercover and take his mating bite to sell it to his brother Angus things get completely complicated.

What's supposed to be fake, starts becoming so real Fraser not Daphne can reconcile the way they feel. Plus Daphne couldn't possibly want the beast he really is right? Thing is, as a mundane his Beast is ALL she wants...forever.

This book was good. It was slow in parts and the back and forth of do she/he want me and why was a little redundant until they finally gave in. I do want to see how the remaining books in the series play out.

This book was a great start to a series that will be interesting.    I might even go back and refer to the other series to get more background on the new director.

This story focuses on Daphne and Fraser (who is Scottish).   Daphne works for the archive and works in the sexual artifacts division.   There are so many cool parts to this book.

The fact that they have to pretend to be mates to get her into this clan to find the artifact.  This is a perfect monster romance with intrigue and action.

I can't wait to read more in this series.

Another case of "don't judge the monster romance book by its silly cover". This storyline draws you in, the characters are believable and have great chemistry, and there's an HEA.

Fraser in Daphne give me life! I just loved everything about this book so much! I devoured it in on sitting!

🐺Tropes🐺
- fake mating
- werewolf
- Good V.S Evil
- Magical Artifacts
- Knotting & primal chasing

I loved that this book had magical artifacts as well as monsters that worked as artifact collectors for all things magic. Daphne is a scholar who works in the section of artifacts that deal with all things, sex and sexual. She definitely has that shy library in thing going on while also being confident in the work that she does, and feels no shame in talking about sexuality in public and that  puts a blush on our sweet werewolf.

Fraser is such a grumpy cinnamon roll, he tries so hard to resist the pull Daphne has on him. Omgah his poor broken soul. His past relationship really did a number on him🥲. I just love him so much

It has warehouse 13 vibes and I loved that show 🤩!! So excited to submerge myself into this world again with the next book in the series!

This book gave me the feeling i was looking for: being obsessed with a story that i couldn't put it down. The Fraser clan need to be protected at all cost - i loved them so much. Daphnie was a great MC, and she was here representing all of us who like monsters romance <3
My only kinda negative thing is that i felt like the plot of why they couldn't be together draged a little bit longer than i'd like it.

Delight!

Daphne works two jobs; one with the supernaturals at the Archive as a sex historian and another one with a college where she hopes to come a professor soon. But when the college job fails, she decides to dedicate her work to the Archive.

The Archive is a sort of a Warehouse 13 -esque place, working in uncovering artifacts and after the death of their former director, in fixing what she did wrong to the supernatural community at large.

Fraser MacDonald, a werewolf with a possible artifact problem amongst his clan is thrown together with Daphne when the new director of the Archive decides she’s the best asset to uncover what is ailing the werewolf clan. They agree on Daphne going uncover as his mate. A bite is only a bite right? Wrong.

I love love love the Warehouse 13 vibes in this books. Magical artifacts mixed with the paranormal is perfect! I also really enjoyed Daphne and Fraser both, especially his deep brogue. Their connection is very steamy from the get-go, even if he acts a bit like an eejit with her credentials.

There is plenty of action packed into this story as well and it’s balanced so well with the tender moments between our main couple. They both have insecurities from the past but they only enhance the connection they share.

Loved reading this one!
