I enjoyed this. I would listen to the next one. The writing is a little rough in spots (Yes - the scientist woman just gets so horny before she goes in and examines a body... um... what?) but overall I thought it was a fun ride and I enjoyed the references and the humor.

Had high hopes for this as the blurb sounded so intriguing and a review !ade me even more intruiged. Glad to say it wasn't a disappointing. Very interesting read

No bout-a-doubt it, this is one of the best horror/science fiction novels I've read in a very long time. The writing is solid, and the author has the dark wit of Stephen King. Perfect.

The plot was fine, the writing was fair. My issue with this book is the audiobook narration. I normally don’t let the quality of an audiobook impact my review, but this one is too terrible to not mention. The silly voices the author uses for the characters cheapen the book. It feels like he isn’t taking his own writing seriously. Awful, distracting, and virtually unlistenable. Also, the author/narrator’s voices for non-white characters are completely inappropriate.

Creepy good.

Read.
Goosebumps.
Shiver.
Throws away book.
Picks it up a bit later.
Continues.
Repeat.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Reviewing it YEAAAARSS LATER!

Surprisingly addictive.

Never has a book made me squeamish before reading Infected. Thank you Scott Sigler for one of the best books I've read in a long time.

DID NOT FINISH

I was reading this on a plane, so the book had a captive audience, but after only 29 pages, I realized I was forcing myself through the book. Nothing was interesting, it was like going through a swamp, so I stopped reading and turned on a movie instead. A zombie book is a quick read that should draw you right in, and this just wasn't. It may be good for others, but not for me. This is especially sad since I loved - five stars loved - one of his other books.

It started out good but had a very crappy ending. Sorry Scott Sigler but your book sucked.
