I admit that this book was like reading a romance novel for horror fans. The plot was thin in a few places but the pace was great. I ripped through it in a day and sometimes it's just great to have a book that is all about fun and oh that's really gross. No thinking required, just get on the ride.

I'm a huge fan of medical thrillers like this, but often times they follow the same generic plotline and are utterly predictable (although fun). This one goes above and beyond. I found myself surprised at the twists and turns throughout the book. I couldn't stop reading for fear I'd miss something.

Pretty visceral descriptions of violence and surgery, so not for the faint of heart.
What a deliciously sick book!!! I read this in two days, and loved every minute!! The horror just keeps mounting and the first person narrative was spot on. The ending was a little rushed but it was still very satisfying!!

I wanted this to be so much better than it was. Interesting storyline with interesting science but the characters are so terrible. So much sexism, homophobia and some light racism sprinkled in for funsies. (Obviously don’t think racism is fun.)
Will probably still read the next one.
