I don't think I really understand haikus, so therefore no rating :/. I did enjoy the seasonal themes.

a collection of haiku, I love the format but I think reading translated Japanese Haiku is like showering with a rain coat on.

This is the most poetic experience i have ever felt. The translation was impeccable, the fracing was quintessential.
I have never experienced anything like this.
I must recommend it to anyone who will read it.
I am astonished. I am stunned.

I will recite one that stuck to me particularly

Under the cherry -
blossom soup,
blossom salad.

I don't think I understand all of it but it's still beautiful

Lost in translation seems very fitting for this book. I have always admired the art of haiku poetry, and while I for the most part felt moved by the beauty of these poems, sometimes I caught myself thinking one or two didn't make much sense and mostly I think it had to do with the English translation. I'm pretty sure I'll reread these soon, perhaps when it finally feels like spring in Denmark.
