Guys, this is even better than the first one. Seriously. Our loved characters are back and better than ever in Ironhand. The plot quickens, slowly down only slightly in some areas, and it flows so seamlessly from the last book that it's not even funny. I also really liked how the relationships between the characters were strengthened, and how we got to meet a few new characters. This is a book that is worthy to stand next to Stoneheart, and it's an outstanding sequel.

The Stoneheart Trilogy, book 2.

With the Gunner in the Walker's clutches, George and Edie set out to save him. Unfortunately, the taint called Spout grabs George and leaves Edie all alone.

Soon, George embarks on the Hard Way, and must face three challenges to stop the veins of marble, bronze, and stone that have appeared on his wrist before they pierce his heart.

With each of the three main characters in mortal peril and making their way alone, the story is jam-packed with action. Surprisingly, there is space for some tender moments that got me right in the feels.

I really enjoyed reading this book! I like the shortish chapters which makes it easy to read. It had enough action and mystery to make it an iteresting read! I can't wait to see how this series ends!

Ironhand was an action packed book that continues the story of "Stoneheart". In book two of this trilogy, George begins his journey of taking "the hard way" and starts to come into his own and understand the meaning of being a maker. There are twists and turns that may surprise you or possibly make you tear up. It is a good book two that leaves you wanting to read number three and find out the resolution to this epic story between London and Un-London.

Even better than the first one. How have I not discovered this series before! Amazing. A must read if you're a fan of fantasies like Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, etc. etc. I am in love with this world and these characters.

This one was a bit hard to follow sometimes but still really good. I was listening to the Audiobook and that doesn't help things, though. The plot was really well put together and I was glad to see that George was able to better take control of his own story, but it still had lots of random chance problems.

This book was a bit darker than the last one in that the descriptions were more vivid and violent. I really think I liked this one more than the previous but if you decide to read the trilogy, you might want to have the 3rd book in the queue before you finish the 2nd. While the first one ends with it clear there is more to be done, this one is more urgent.
