Oh my stars this book was ALL THE EMOTIONS. It made me smile, cry and laugh out in a few spots. Thank you for such an awesome book I loved it.

Beautiful audio for an amazing book.

My favorite from A. Zavarelli SO FAR.

Tracy and Aaron do this book justice not that I expect anything less.

Not bad, but not as great as the reviews suggest

If you want a sad, Notebook-style contemporary romance, you'll like this.

If you're into gritty, dark romance, this ain't it. Also the smut is meh, and so is the BDSM (if we can call it that)

The whole thing is way more vanilla than I wanted, so I feel a bit mislead.

idk, maybe it's just me, but I never felt any of the chemistry? Nor did I understand how/why these two got together. It's like our H's character tried to be written as gritty (esp toward the end), but it felt inconsistent to me. For example, you've been alone for years, "never intend for sex to happen", but chose her over literally anyone else? For what reason besides attraction? Eh.

And we keep trying to do all these honorable things to make the H likable, while making the h a total f*cking brat. (not in a cute or BDSMy way, just annoying). (Like, since when are you too good to clean house? Uhm?) This, plus the huge 17-year age difference, makes this feel creepy to me.

Then this thing is LONG - unnecessarily so. Even though it's long, I don't think our h or her sister have been done any justice in the character development or telling of their past. It was a lot of, "We've been through lot, but we survived!" but we don't get any details of that til later, so it falls flat for me

oh, and this is SAD. I almost wish it ended on sad instead of the ending that actually happened

idk. This book isn't bad but it definitely wasn't great either. I guess its my mistake for not noticing this was contemporary. I really wouldn't call this dark or smutty (there is but meh) either

You can’t change fate; you can only survive it.

This book.
This freaking book.
If you’re looking for an emotional rollercoaster, with a con artist heroine and a hero who gets the bad guys off the hook, then this is that story. But it’s also WAY WAY more than that story as well. I think this story is the true definition of don’t judge a book by your assumptions. This one is deep, emotional, dark, filled with triggers, and just plain good. Can’t wait to see what else could come from other characters!!

I wasn't expecting this story to unfold the way it does. It's Unpredictable!

I’m gobsmacked by Confess. It is more than a great book. It’s brilliant and moving not to mention so very compelling. It’s one of the best books I’ve read this year!

The writing was top-notch and this world, this book, that this author wrote was everything during the time I read it.

I'M IN LOVE WITH THE COVER!!! I definitely decided to pick this book up because of the gorgeous cover and I don't totally regret it.

I loved how this story began, but my interest tapered towards the middle and then I just wanted the story to end. I liked the characters but somewhere along I just lost interest. This definitely had potential but maybe the twists and delivery from the middle til the end just isn't for me. The twists were definitely predictable but I held out hope that the author would do the unthinkable. One amazing thing I can take away from this is definitely the playlist. I listened to the playlist provided while reading and I just really liked it. Maybe it contributed to my initial interest in the story. Anyway, this was a decent read and I'm definitely interested in reading a book about the priest and/or Luna.

I am speechless. Yes speechless. Be ready for crying and some kind of twists and turns but a great book.

DNF at 28%.

The H annoyed me so much. No matter what he is trying to do, he is just treating her like his 12 year old kid and I am so sick of it and quite shocked none of the reviews I read mention this fact! No matter the twist it just doesn't make sense to me to tell a grown woman she has a bed time. Also take her clothes away and ruin her shoes until she cleans the whole house. Just weird and gross tbh.

Superb

From the very beginning, this book pulled me in. I read it at every opportunity.
It is told from both Gypsy and Lucian's POV.
Gypsy, the survivor of a brutal past, is trying to do the best she can to provide for herself and her little sister. This seems to be going well until Lucian West forces his way into her life. I loved Lucian. His heart was in the right place and all he wanted to do was care for Gypsy and give her a new focus in her life.
Gypsy fought hard against Lucian and his directives. She was strong willed, rebellious and fiercely independent. Despite all that, she was still insecure.
Both the characters are complex, they bring out the best and worst in each other.
The storyline was particularly emotional in places, reducing me to tears on more than one occasion. I love when an author can pull that level of emotion from the reader.
I'm now looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I was really enjoying where this was going but then they went to the sex club and now I’m confused. what happened to his tendencies? Who killed the girl in Emmanuels case? Toward the end it finally picked back up. I do want to read about Birdie and Ace.
