read the bodyguard a couple weeks ago and loved it! same type of romance - with a strong fmc, sweet lovable love interest, and an altogether romantic story with no spice. might change to 5 stars we’ll see

Thank you, thank you, thank you St. Martin’s for this advanced reader copy. I devoured this book in one day. I could not put it down.
Katherine Center knocked it out of the park again with this delicious story. What happens to an artist when she loses her ability to see faces and has to rely on her other senses to do life? A lot of sweet and funny mix ups from falling in love with the “wrong” man, competing in the biggest competition of her life, and working through her own family issues. Only Katherine could make this story so lovely and heartwarming. 10/10 recommend that you read this book!

At first I didn't think I'd like this book and it would take me forever to finish. 30 pages in, I could not put it down. I loved Sadie and Joe, and even though I guessed the "secret" from the beginning, it was still a fun time.

This was a very enjoyable read with a super unique concept. I really like the authors writing and overall, it was a quick read that was a great strangers to friends to lovers romance.
