I really enjoyed this! The writing was really good and created a great atmosphere! The characters were really vivid as well, and I loved seeing Odile’s growth both in herself and her relationship with Marie 🦢 

I will say I wasn’t ever too too interested in the plot, and it got a bit muddled at the end when it had to wrap up everything, but I still had a great time!

Excellent book. What an original take on Swan Lake, getting the broad strokes of the root story while also adding more details to the story, adding more magic, mystery and politics. 

I absolutely adored Odile. I loved how we saw her grow, come into her own mindset, and work through her worldviews. She wasn't given a perfect character arc where she reached flawless morality. She was given raw, hard growth.

Great characters, loved the soft love between Odile and Marie, and amazing plot. So glad I picked this book up!
