It has some sexism/gender stereotypes that were quite unnecessary and surprising. I finished this purely out of spite.

Seem to have been leaning towards chicklit/feel good/romances a bit. This was a satisfying story but nothing spectacular. An easy and quick read even though this was a bit of a chunkier. A nice read to spend some time with

I hate the cover of this book. I almost didn't pick it up, but I loved, " One Hit Wonder," and "Friend of the Family" was pretty good too so I decided to give it a try. I did like it but it wasn't a major page-turner and I occasionally agreed with one of the reviewers listed on the back cover: I wanted to pound my head into a wall every time these star-crossed lovers turned away from each other.

AMAZING! One of the best books I have ever read! I would have liked to read even more about Vince & Joy. ;-)

THAT WAS THE ENDING??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????

I really liked the story but also really despised a few of the characters. I wanted to smack Vince upside the head at times & Jess - ugh don’t get me started.
But as a whole, I really liked it as I have all of Lisa Newell’s books!

Quick easy read. And completely forgettable. There was nothing in it that made me want to pick up another Lisa Jewell book.
