I really enjoyed this conclusion to the Pelican harbor series. It was fun seeing how everyone grew in their faith with God, and all of the action and romance doesn't hurt either

A pretty good story, a little far fetched at times. I love the dynamic between Jane and Reid but struggled a little with the relationship between Will and Jane.

There’s also a heavy “god presence” in this book, so depending on your belief system it could affect your thoughts on this one. I was not a fan and found it terribly annoying.

The final book in this series was just okay to me. It felt a little too far-fetched, and some of the details seemed off to me. Some were just too convenient, and others didn't make sense. The end felt a little rushed too. And maybe I missed it, but I didn't really see a full acceptance of Jesus like I was expecting from book 1. Jane sort of just believed in God after a while and it didn't really have much to do with anything else. It was hardly addressed.

So I guess I wanted something more from this, but I'm glad for the happy ending. I'll look for other Coble books and go from there.

The best of this series. I didn't want to put this book down. It felt a bit predictable but I second guessed who I thought was behind everything. One thing I was disappointed in was that there was no closure with the situation with her mother.

3.5⭐️ The trilogy is complete and it was good. I was surprised by quite a few twists and loves how faithful the characters stayed, even in the worst of dire circumstances!
adventurous emotional mysterious fast-paced

I liked this series, but this wasn't my favorite of the three.

3 and 1/2 stars rounded to 4.

After a wonderful start I found Three Missing Days started to lose my interest as the mix of suspense and normal life was somewhat weird in the telling. I stuck with it not expecting much while at the same time expecting to finish the book with at least 3 stars since I’ve found in the past Coble’s books to drag and then pick up.

Wow, was I glad I stuck with it. The second half of the book grabbed my attention and with a few groans at slow places I was still eager to find out what would happen to the characters and where the story was going.

This isn’t your normal suspense as it is so much … more. It ends with a beautiful redeeming end after a story that was at times quite stark.

Content warnings: mentions of past mistakes, dealings with cults, murders, threats, and more of the like.

I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary e/copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

A satisfying conclusion to the Pelican Harbor series. We've been following police chief Jane Hardy, her son Will, Will's father Reid (Jane's childhood love) and a cast of familiar characters. These books are some that I highly recommend you read in order, and it's probably better to read them close together, though Ms Coble does a stellar job of catching you up on what's been going on with their over-arcing story. Each book has a sub plot and mystery and this one was no different. For me, it was a wee bit over the top, but no less enjoyable. Getting to a satisfying conclusion was the best part for me! I am looking forward to reading even more of Colleen Coble's books in the future.
