I absolutely loved this! Jax is so sweet and earnest. And I loved Macy’s courage. This was just so amazing.

Okay so there was no lie I’ve been in a serious reading slump and I couldn’t read a book for the life of me. This book was brought to my attention and I wanted to read a monster romance.
But calling our sweet Jax a monster, HURTS MY HEART.
To say I was thoroughly surprised and that I enjoyed this immensely—I didn’t think I would say that about a humanoid octopus romance. I actually loved this story and these characters.
These authors are wonderful at world building and their steamy scenes are, well, STEAMY. LOL I was not expecting it and I loved it every second of it!!
The romance was kind of instant and I don’t know how I felt about that in the beginning. However, it was internalized and it wasn’t vocalized right away. I really enjoyed the conflict and I loved how it was wrapped up.
However, this book was very original and unique and I’m sad I didn’t read it earlier. I WANT to read Arkon and Aymee’s book BUT I NEED DRACCHUS’ BOOK.
