This just wasn't all that interesting, and it wasn't very creepy/scary either. Brenda's sister disappears in the woods and years later, she goes back looking for her. The legend is that there is a white and yellow bridge and a creature called Ospo that is looking for a face. The ending was abrupt and it feels like a lot is missing.

Was a super quick read. Listened to this book through audible and the narrator is great with the sounds. Creeped me out haha. Quick and easy story.

It was okay… A perfect short story for me would be one that, despite its length, is still able to tell a full story without it feeling rushed or cut short, yes it can have a cliffhanger but it has to fit and not feel dropped in just to end the book. This book’s conclusion missed the mark a little, for its slow build, the ending felt too quick of a resolution.

The narrative around the creature in the woods, the Opso, started strong, and looked to promise a creepy, unsettling story. But from when Brenda begins her search in the woods, the story starts to drag, and the ending was just meh…

The audiobook for this was TERRIFYING. I literally jumped when the voice for the monster happened. Good lord, great atmosphere.

It was good for a short story, a mix between folklore and Blair witch.
