A short story about a woman looking for her sister who disappeared in the woods and the stories of a faceless creature . . . Spooky!

I genuinely thought the first half of this book was creepy. I thought it was well written and had good pacing.

The second act left me with too many questions too be more than a three star. Honestly, I wish this had been a longer story.

A budding teenage filmmaker searches for her lost sister only to discover a supernatural surprise in the woods. It’s short, it’s well-produced, it’s actually a pretty decent YA yarn that just about anybody could kill a spooky 90 minutes with. But its done with a lot of sentimental purple prose that can be pretty eye-rolling. Simplistic, written for teens but not unpleasant. Also, didn’t know I could get audiobooks from kindle unlimited now?
