Parts are interesting, his early years and of course the basics of the method. The problem was the repetitive nature and the assertion that thus method can cure almost any ailment. Not until the epilogue does he concede that it's not a silver bullet. Before then you start to think it would fix global warming and all wars!!!!
The method is incredibly simple so let's have 1 chapter on that. 1 chapter on Wim and 1 chapter on the science along with references to some of the papers. Then...finish.

Okay-ish? Great ideas but too whoozy for my liking, and I don't like it when people put themselves on the cover. You have a face, big dealio.

Good info, I like the lifestyle it teaches and has good perspective about life in it!

I was with Wim until he started talking about changing our ancestral trauma at a molecular level. He mentions multiple times having the ability to turn our DNA back more than 3 billion years. Humans weren't even around then. He mixes pseudoscience with science. I don't doubt that there are energy benefits to meditation, breathing, and cold baths. I'm all on board for that. He lost me with some of the more out-there ideas. I have done cold baths. I think they're reinvigorating. I'll keep doing them. I will practice the more practical aspects of this book and disregard those that can't be tested.

Always interesting to hear the disconnect that happens when bashing of the free-market capitalist systems occurs by those who simultaneously advocate for and are the recipients of the welfare state provided by the same wealth that is produced by the free-market system.
Unfortunately it alienates a large possible audience of potential readers when it happens.
