I gave both volumes of Injection the same rating (a 4) even though this volume is 1000x better than the first volume. It is more coherent, interesting and builds the world and the problems in it in a way that isn't as confusing as before. While it is still not a great book, it is definitly interesting and worth checking out... If you can slog your way to this volume.

Although, the artwork is absolutely fantastic. Something about the designs of the people are unique and realistic with just enough magic to make it feel otherworldly.

This injection is no joke.

In volume two, we meet a man who claims that his dead mistress is visiting him when he looks at a photograph of her. When the photo goes missing, he comes to Viv to hire him to figure out what is going on.

While Viv and this man are meeting, Viv finds out that someone has given him a human bicep instead of the order of ham that the chef usually buys. We later find out that his is the man's son.

While figuring out what the deal with the human bicep is, we find out that a secret organization is involved. This organization is involved with Alchemy.

This organization believes that his man has come across the philosophers stone. What they don't know is that, it is actually the Injection messing with people.

Viv brings in Brigid and Simeon to help him out. From here, the Injection talks to Brgid.

Again, I started off thinking I would hate this story due to its convoluted beginning. I loved it.
