This resonated with me and was a much needed reminder of how karma works in real time - we create it by being inspired, inspiring, and then receiving.
This book changed my freaking life. It forced me to uncover subconscious limiting beliefs, understand my own true desires, and stop worrying and start believing in myself. I’m so thankful for this book and have been gifting it to everyone I know.

Just okay. Some of her advice is really good, but her examples are a little tone-deaf. She writes about other cultures and some of her travels through the lens of white privilege and those from western developed nations.
Wasn’t what I had hoped for, didn’t finish it. I probably would have really connected with this in my early 20s but I’m past that point in my life
Sincero took me by surprise. This book has an element of spirituality behind it, which I wasn’t expecting from a “motivational” read like this. She discusses a thing called Source Energy, or this universal power that we can tap into to manifest positivity. Sincero asserts that when we intentionally recognize that we live in an abundant world where all we need already “exists,” and direct our faith into building this energy, we will be graced with resources.
To me, You Are a Badass felt like a workbook, with exercises to challenge yourself to truly reflect, nurture and celebrate this idea of abundance- knowing the universe has our backs. Love it.

I found it poorly thought out, problematic and truly bad advice.
I’m all for loving yourself and finding passion and drive to do the things you want to do. But it doesn’t solve everything.

A little repetitive at times, but a good self help book with inspiring messaging
