4⭐️ this book surprised me a lot and i think is one of my new favorites by frieda it was still a little predictable but there were times where i was shocked and on my toes. i really enjoyed this one and glad to add another frieda book to my list!

This had some The Boyfriend vibes to it, which is probably why I liked it so much. You’re alternating between the new girl and the ex POVs. I actually prefer the alternating POV more than it being done in parts like her more recent work. Not as twisty, but still had a few. I’d you liked The Boyfriend I think you’ll like this.
