The suspense starts from the beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. This was an enjoyable thriller and I look forward to reading more from this author. I loved that places I've been (Dahlonega, the gold mine and the Atlanta area) were where this story played out.

Good page turner with a fairly obvious suspect. The Xbox trick was a nice touch.

8 year old Ethan mysteriously goes missing on a school trip, his mother Kat is frantic with worry. She’s a single mum, separated from her abusive husband who is on a restraining order to stay away from her. Ethan is her only child who has an extraordinarily high IQ.
Another of the school mums, Stef, whose son Sammy is also on the trip gets a sinister phone call telling her that her son has been kidnapped. But Sammy is safe, they have taken the wrong child.
Stef and Kat’s lives couldn’t be more different - Kat’s struggling to make ends meet and Stef lives in luxury with her husband the Mayor, but Kat and Stef become inexorably linked as the drama unfolds and the plot deepens.
This is the first book from Kimberley Belle that I have read and which I read as part of a readalong with an online book club. The story is a gripping and tense race-against-time read that had me flying through the pages!!
Definitely recommended if you want an easy to read book that will quickly hook you into a compelling plot.

This book started off strong and took off running! Incredibly fast paced with just enough unique twists and turns to make a solid thriller. A lot of people found it rather predictable and I understand that, but it was also written so well that I didn’t really care. I really enjoyed this one because it felt realistic and didn’t have anything that made it too “out there” to be believed. The author did an amazing job racking up the suspense and alternating between the two mother’s POVs to keep the story racing along.

Enjoyed this book- the ending recap by Ethan shocked me a bit- I can see this being a good bullying resource for teachers- it would be easy to say Ethan & Sammy just have a personality conflict and wave it off- should maybe pay a bit more attention if a child is on their own a lot.

Kat let her little boy go to camp, despite her doubts. Then he’s taken in the midst of chaos.
Stef is the privileged wife of Atlanta’s mayor and has a son in the same class.

Two moms, two little boys, one terrifying mystery. Who took Ethan? Why? Told from both moms’ points of view, this novel reads at a breakneck pace. Just when you’re coming to an apex in her story, Belle switches over to the other mom with a new chapter. There is never ending suspense and I can guarantee you, this will be a binge read with the inability to stop reading. Not when she ends every chapter like that. You simply have to keep reading to find out what’s going to be revealed next.

As a mom to a sweet, bullied child, my heart was in my throat from the very first paragraph. Belle perfectly captures the fear, anxiety and any other raw emotion a mother might feel when their child is in danger and worse- taken. I had my theories as I read the book, as I love to do with stories like this. One of my theories was indeed correct, but it was done in such a masterful way, I relished reading how it was played out. It did not take away from the book in the slightest. Full of fear that feels all too real, Three Days Missing is a nonstop suspense thriller that will keep you guessing. 5+ stars.

I received an advanced copy. All opinions are mine.

It is an interesting plot; however, it seems to try to get on too many subplots.

A very good suspenseful page turner. It was pretty addicting to read. There were times i felt the story was a bit confusing and it took quite a political turn - somehow it felt both fresh and exciting but also a bit off. The ending left me a teeny bit dissatisfied? Like i wish there was another chapter or something i can’t put my finger on. All and all a solid read.
