Very easy read. Nothing special but also fairly enjoyable. Some unusual vocab that must be dialectal scattered throughout. Didn't ever connect with the main character either but even so the general plot kept me reading. Decent for the genre but not a favourite of mine.

I’m so mad at this book. The writing is so bad. Just watch the Netflix series. The story is good, but the writing… it was a ghostwriter, right? Because I generally like Coben books. Seriously, just watch the show. Life is too short to read bad books

This book was GREAT! It had so many unexpected turns and it was intense to read! An unexpected, bittersweet ending. A must read.

Maya Stern is a former special ops pilot, home from the war and attending her murdered husband’s funeral. How can it be explained when he appears on your nanny cam days after the funeral? You thought you trusted him. Now you can’t even trust yourself.

Harlan Coben always writes gripping books with plenty of twists and turns and this book did not disappoint. Just as I thought I knew what had happened, the book had a huge twist which left me shocked. The ending was not expected and I’m looking forward to reading more of his books in the future. 3.5

Probably one of the best stand alone Coben's books I've read. Really liked the character, and what a twist and bitter sweet ending. Definitely recommend this one.
