This book was so good! It was a super fast paced fantasy with plenty of spice! I fell in love with these characters and can’t wait to see where Adara and Evrens relationship goes in the next book!

I’ve had this series on my tbr for awhile. Why I waited so long? I’ll never know. I really enjoyed this book. This is definitely one that will get you hooked and wanting more. I was so into the story and the characters that the ending/cliffhanger made my heart drop to my stomach. This is my first Holly Renee book but won’t be my last—I really like her writing. Now I need to read on so I can find out what happens with Adara!

This was a quick read and very predictable if you have read JLA's Blood and Ash series. It seems heavily influenced from that and a tad from SJM's ACOTAR series. I think it's okay to be influenced from other series but some of these scenes were straight copies.
