I say this in the nicest way, this reads like a fanfic version of ACOTAR with hints of some other fantasies in here. Character descriptions are short because you read the original story, events move at a ridiculously brisk pace because we have places to be (characters need to smash).
Is that bad? Not necessarily. If you're interested in a fast-paced romantasy it's perfectly acceptable. It is a nice change of pace over the seeming competition to write 600+ page books.
I did find that because of its brevity (this clocks out at less than 300 pages) there was no time for world building. I did get frustrated by some poor characterization and the clear need for editing throughout. The grammar is fine but there's some errors in consistency (someone's sitting on a chair and then suddenly they're in the bath?).
For my sanity, I need to describe some of the bizarre sex scene choices.
Our MMC using a book to bring our FMC to climax. Hilarious but also I'm assuming a spine against her? Huh?

Such a fun, solid fantasy romance. Fae, kingdoms, love, danger, and vAmPiREs!?! It had it all. Overall not completely addicting because the FMC made some choices that seemed rather juvenile and illogical to me, and I feel the characters and their interpersonal relationships could’ve been more fleshed out. If that had been the case I would’ve been utterly obsessed.
Regardless, this book is a short and fun read that will give you everything you crave if you love the standard fantasy tropes, characters, and world-building.
