I liked Ava’s character overall. I think that it is nice to see a SUPER sunshine FMC. She was sweet, and wayyy too good for Alex.
Speaking of Alex… no. Simply no. I don’t think I have ever disliked a MMC in a book so much. It was not really the things that he did, more the things that he said. CRINGE. Absolute cringe. I was literally contemplating throwing the book and burning it because of some of the things he was saying.
As for the smut, that was definitely something. Something I don’t ever want to encounter again.
I will say, the scenes of the friend group were super fun. I enjoyed them so much and I hope there will be more of them in the next books.
Which, yes, I will read.
Because surprisingly, I did not hate it as much as I thought I would. And I understood the series gets better so, I guess I’ll just try it out.

Worst book ever, characters don't even love eachother, the guy starts liking her just cause she's showing cleavage. The plot was lost between the countless sex scenes which only degraded ava character, cause why are you feeling special about a guy facing you during sex. The bar was in tartarus with Alex and somehow he still didn't reach it.

Ok, look. This book is purely entertainment. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing! The plot is soooo dramatic but certainly interesting and the spice is spicy. Alex is a walking red flag though. The whole uber possessive, I’ll kill another man if he looks at you thing wasn’t really working for me. But I think this book is doing what it aims to do which is be spicy and entertaining.

Love the girl girl energy between Ava and her friends. This book is from both povs which i love in romance books. And it keeps you reading it. Im sorry but i didnt like alex at the end of the book beacuse why didnt you just tell Ava straight ahead and also why did you have to basically stalk her to get her back? Like i get it you want you girl back but you should have thought a bit before you actions.
