I loved the other books, but this one wasn’t it for me. I can’t say much without spoiling but I just didn’t like the direction this went and the spice is minimal in comparison to the first two which is why I read them in the first place.

This series was everything. What a rollercoaster! I though El grew so much in this book and her resilience is something I’ll carry with me. Although there is so much tragedy in their stories and how they are woven together, it’s also so beautiful. I adore R Phillips writing style and I can’t wait to read more from her!

I absolutely loved Entangled and Bound. The ending of Bound ripped my heart into shreds and I was sooooo excited for Fractured to heal my heart.
And it did just that!
El is such a badass in this book. My only complaint is that I wish we could’ve gotten to see her more in action to prove that character growth but the plot unfolded in a different direction.
I love El and Coop and Jace and I’m so sad to hear the end of their stories🥺 I’ll need to do a reread of this series

Fractured is the epic, soul shattering conclusion to the debut trilogy by R Phillips that I had the privilege of reading an ARC for.
Wow. How does one put in to words a review worthy of a book that me you in tears from the dedication? Had me holding my newborn in my arms so she would sleep peacefully and I could consume this story?
Rachael took me on a roller coaster of emotions with her poetic storytelling, leaving me in pieces before putting me back together again. It really left me guessing until the end how it was gonna go. And the answers I got to some of the questions from Entangled and Bound made me wish I paid closer attention to all the little hints along the way.
Fractured, to me, was all about El’s growth and seeing her push through everything that was happening. She’s the true survivor of this tale and a badass mf.
I cannot wait to read what Rachael does next. So keen for the LA boys books!
But for now, Jace, Coop and El will keep me company while I’m dreaming of sunrises and Cahuita.

This book made me cry. I did guess what was going to happen, but it still got me. I love it. Its 4 days since I finished reading this and I've read 2 more books since and I still cannot get these characters out of my head. I absolutely love this trilogy and I need more books on the other characters.
The trilogy is great because the 3 books are all very different and you aren't reading a repeat of the previous book again just worded differently (as often happens with a 3 or 4 book series!)
Character development is great and I love seeing different relationships grow. Love it!

Holy emotional roller coaster. The end to this series was a very fitting one. Lots of tension, drama, and heartache. At the end of the day, the characters each found their own sense of peace and happiness in the decisions they made. I won’t say much more because I don’t want to give any spoilers, but definitely a good read!

BOOK/ARC REVIEW
Fractured by R. Phillips
“The love that brought on great wars and ended kingdoms.”
Wow—Woah—Mic Freakin Drop—First, buckle up because this is going to be a long one. Second, (and I promise this will be the last time I say this…okay maybe not. I mean if R. Phillips keeps give us stories, this might just be my thing with her now) but I finished this one in bed and just stared at my ceiling with the words that are written within these pages that makes you feel all the emotions. So here’s to my review just trying to do this one justice, again.
R. Phillips knew exactly what she was doing, toying with all of our hearts through the whole story of El, of Jace, and of Coop. Now as you know I love a good love triangle, when there is a decision made. I don’t want the FMC to end up with both guys, if you ask me that’s cop-out in my eyes. With that being said, this is a love triangle and a decision is made. BUT this story wouldn’t exist without all three of them, each of them is important in their own way to the story. And even though (and if you follow me, I made a decision, on a team if you could say) but I STILL love all three of them equally.
The story. The ending. Can I say that I LOVE this ending, while I had own ideas and thoughts and opinions (and I am not confirming whether I was right or not) this ending is way better than what I could have expected. R. Phillips putting you through the wringer for the first two books but then it’s as if she bakes you your favorite cake and gives you the warmest of hugs to apologize. That’s how I felt reading this one, it’s the ending I didn’t think I needed but got. AND I AM OBSESSED!!
In the words of Taylor Swift, it’s the ending of an era, that’s how I feel reading and finishing this one. Starting with Entangled, then Bound and now Fractured. I’m not really sure where to go, what to do next, but just knowing that El, Jace and Coop’s story is completed and full and endless it makes my heart happy.
“I will always choose you.”
