Its really lovely to read about a passion for decency. To watch Vines step up and see the Watch come together. My first book was Thud so its a prequel to me. If you like Discworld, its another piece of what travels on the Great A'Tuin’s back.

The Discworld series is a lot of fun to read. I chuckled out loud many times, enjoyed the tongue in cheek humour, play on words and ridiculousness. Terry Pratchett books always put a smile on my face and definitely a great palette cleanser. I'm late to the Discworld series in publication order and have been slowly reading 1-2 volumes a year, however I set an ambitious goal this year (2025) to read to the HogFather by Yule.

Bombastically brilliant. It caused me to laugh out loud on several occasions, which is otherwise rare, and the characters in this novel are already amongst my favourites.
If you have never taken the plunge into the Discworld series, this is a fantastic place to begin. There's a million-to-one chance that you won't be won over by the camaraderie of Vimes, Carrot, Colon and Nobbs.
