A fun read. Unlike those with a huge laugh, this book is sort of a continuous multiple chuckles. Terry Pratchett is an absolute wordsmith.
I have definitely never laughed this hard at a book before - the characters, plot, and my god the SETTING are all superb (shout out ankh, it’s such a fantastic place that just feels so rich and lived-in). The magic of the world is exciting and fun without being overbearing, and the main cast is surprisingly down to earth despite the wacky fantasy plot. Also obviously when Pratchett wants to write a really intense and serious scene, he does so to perfection. This is definitely in my top 5 of all time, and I can’t wait to read the whole series!

Not the best, but still entertaining enough. I admit to a lot of skimming for the last third of the book.

Me he divertido, me ha interesado la trama, he querido saber qué pasaba a continuación, me he encariñado con varios personajes y como siempre, me he admirado de las citas "lapidarias" de Pratchett. Cuánta sabiduría.

I enjoyed it and I really love the world, Carrot, and the humour. However, I feel like my lack of historical knowledge meant I missed the meaning of some things. I also didn't much enjoy the masogeny but I will know to expect it going forward and also, haven't worked out if it's on purpose as part of the world or the actual thoughts of the author. I think if he hadn't dedicated the book to Neil Gaimen then I probably wouldn't be questioning this aspect as much.
I think I love the Rincewind books a little more than the watch, but this is still a delight.
