I was curious about Jasper from the first time I read about him. You would think he’s a cocky player, which he is, but he’s also a tortured soul. The past was not his friend, but parts of Sloane’s family was.
Sloane was kinda strung like a little puppet in a screen-play written by her father. But with Jaspers help she hardly worked her way out of it and put two and two together. And stood up for herself. Bravo!
These two together were slow burn at its best, even tho they yearned for each other. But when they finally kissed the first time? Damn. The rest? Super hot.
All in all I really liked this book. The side story in it had my gut wrenching in hurt, and I can’t wait to read about that! But I can guarantee you: Chestnut Springs rock!

Llegit en anglès. Quan vaig començar el llibre pensava q aquest aniria millor q els anteriors de la saga. Tenia molt potencial però a mesur q anava avançant m’anava agradant menys. Sà q té alguns moments bons però quan els personatges ja estan junts només passa una cosa i és com si la trama fos inexistent. A més, el protagonista masculà tampoc m’ha agradat i la diferència d’edat i com es coneixen em sembla bastant carcelera (són només 6 anys però és q ell diu q tenia sentiments per ella quan era una adolescent

Jasper is 100% top three men Elsie Silvers has written (that i have read before). I loved how much Sloane brought out in him, and how their relationship flourished.
Sterling and Robert can get lost completely. I really don’t understand how a father could treat his daughter that way and a fiance could treat his fiancee that way, even if’s its fiction, i know it happens in real life that that is insane to me.
I say this after reading every book by her, but i will say it again. the fact that the conflicts/arguments between the main characters don’t last for half the book is something that I love about her books.
Again, she is obviously not the world’s best writer, but i love the depth of her characters.
