I always love a friends to lovers trope and Sloane&Jasper were just that. But a majority of the book was them both being in love with the other person but not telling them — I wish they admitted their feelings so much earlier. Hot take but I also did not like how territorial Jasper was — kinda gave me the ick. I loved how everyone around them (Harvey, Violet, etc) all knew they were meant to be together <3 I did not like the third act break that happened — again just communicate with eachother instead of assuming you know what they are thinking. Overall I liked it, but thought I would love it — first 20% got me hooked and then a little bit after 50% the book fell flat for me.
