This is a very funny book, as Tommy and Tuppence in each case pretend to be famous crime detectives with all the details that make them recognisable and even her own Poirot is there.

Not as good as the first as all the cases began to feel monotonous. Still a wonderful quick read. Love the dynamic between a tommy and Tuppence.

Tommy & Tuppence are just fun.

Normally I dislike short story collections, but this one suited me just fine. What really shines through isn't the crime stories, but the relationship of Tommy and Tuppence. And their adopting various famous literary detectives' style really was quite funny. Agatha Christie's writing doesn't usually make me laugh, but this book definitely did.

Read the physical copy (in german), privately.

Fun! I enjoy Tuppence and Tommy stories so much. This one is particularly chill, as its just a small collection of low-key cases. It doesn't feel like it is trying too hard to be anything, which makes it really easy to read. And i love the dynamic of the two protagonists, I actually think it's a rather healthy portrayal of a relationship, which is rare (and that from 1929).
Probably a really good book to just chuck in your bag and read on the train occasionally, as you don't have to follow a complicated story for a long time.

Wow! An Agatha Christie book I hadn't read! Hooray! It's a book of short stories, so it's not too hard to figure out the solutions, but I love Tommy and Tuppence. They are a fun couple, a good balance of common sense and impulsivity. Just fun to read.

Fun exploration of the greatest detectives of the era. Most of them forgotten now, but still an interesting game.
