Yeahh I don't think I'm the target audience for this series. Maybe it's because I don't date musicians anymore but the men in this series are man babies and I wasn't a fan that the youngest female character gets knocked up. đ
Wow. My heart was breaking for Lizzy through most of this. And then it was soaring, then breaking again, and finally soaring. And while I (still) want to smack Ben, I can't. I get it. Not only did he expect to be single forever, but all of a sudden, he has this new, really big responsibility he didn't expect. And he was so scared. Doesn't quite give him a pass, but still... I understand his fear. I was kinda glad to see Martha play a positive role (in a way, after playing such a negative one) for once, lol. I'm very sad this is the end of the Stage Dive stories. I get that they're all paired off, but they were all so much fun. It was awesome to watch them fall in love, with such great humor, no matter how uncooperative they seemed to do so.
All I Want is the Bass
Another funny, ,sexy book in this series. Lizzy was in list with rugged, powerfully built bass player, Ben. They had flirted via text. But Ben didn't do relationships and Lizzie was his bandmate's little sister. But one night in Vegas they a fling, which ended when Lizzie kicked him out of her room. Now she is pregnant. Tempers are flaring. Funny and humorous

When I finished Play by Kylie Scott, I had an inkling that with Deep, Ben Nicholson would dethrone Mal as the top dog in the series. That didn't exactly happen because I can't choose one above the other. It just can't be done - does that make me a groupie? So, I finally realized that with the Stag Dive series, it's hard to pick a favorite band-member and love interest, but thereâs something in the older guy and younger off-limits girl story line that always seem to call to me, and the premise of Ben and Lizzy Rollins connection and predicament is all the more enticing. With the series conclusion, Ben finally has his day to be front and center in the story line and show off his charming personality and loyal nature. While I love Ben, Lizzy really stole the show for me. She plays off everyone in this little crowd of rock gods +ones ( or +twos) . So, with Lizzy Rollins firmly in his orbit, Benâs life gets really interesting.
Due to some weird band rule, cuddling up to Lizzy is a no-no. And like the other couples, they canât help what they feel and canât hide it. Deep is all about Ben and Lizzy quashing their feelings for each other. Lizzy Rollins is the voice in the story and what a voice it is. Lizzy is smart, snarky, and brave. She tells it how it is and is not afraid to let Ben have it when he deserves it. Getting the story through Lizzyâs eyes made it all the more entertaining because the.girl.is.funny. Her attitude really stole the show and through Lizzyâs voice, Kylie Scotts' writing shines. The dialogue is absolutely stellar. Itâs natural and makes this story one of those reads that you canât stay away from - its an effortless read that goes by all too quickly. Being a romance, we share moments that are fun, sexy, filled with jealousy and heartbreak. These moments are so clearly captured making this is another example is where Kylie's writing is simply outstanding.
4 stars and recommendation! The Stage Dive series is certainly one of my favorites in the Rock Star erotic romance genre. All in all the series merits a 5 star rating and my recommendation.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Bc the Stage Dive series is super fun
2023 re-read: in light of the *gestures to the horizon* everything going on in our dysptopian hellscape, re-reading an entire book about a surprise pregnancy for a TWENTY ONE YEAR OLD COLLEGE STUDENT who drops out bc the alternative is "not for her" just feels like nothing I want to indulge in.

Great series, sad it's over! Maybe the bodyguard next?!!
Loved it!
I hate that this is the last book in the series. I would actually like to read Martha's story now and I couldn't stand that bitch. Although there might be hope for her after the ending. Ben had never been my favorite character. I hated the part he played in trying to keep Dave and Ev apart. Then he wasn't exactly warming my heart with the disappearance act he kept pulling on Lizzie. But I think I finally came around. I adored Lizzie and she cracked me up repeatedly. It was nice to see Sam more and Vaughn as well. Lena and Jimmy are still my favorites. They are tied with Ev and Dave. But I love Ben and Lizzie and Mal and Anne too. It has been a great series. I'm sad to see it end.

I think everyone knows by now how much I adore this series. Actually, all the ladies at FV do. The first book in the series, Lick, was good, but then came Mal. OMG Mal, how I love thee, let me count the ways. We did a WTRW for wonderful Mal. Then came Jimmyâs book, Lead. I wasnât too sure about Jimmy, because you know⌠druggie, asshole. But Iâm pretty sure I loved Jimmy and Lena even more than Mal and Anne. Actually, I loved Jimmy because of Lena. Lena was the shit. So now weâve come to the end of the series and Ms. Scott finally gives Ben his love story. If you havenât caught on by now, Anneâs sister Lizzy is who heâs been secretly texting in the background all this time and they have quite the complicated relationship.
Yes, that complicated. If youâre wondering how in the world the book opens with Lizzie realizing sheâs pregnant, or havenât read the previous books in this series, donât worry. Through a series of flashbacks Ms. Scott takes readers back through their courtship. Or should I say non-courtship? Lizzie has the hots for the bearded rocker almost immediately, but Mal has a strict âhands offâ rule for Ben regarding his lady loveâs kid sister. But then Lizzie begins a texting campaign that he just canât resist and, you guessed it, next thing they know they've had a night in bed. And while it was smoking hot, Ben is trying to forget. Only he canât, because BABY.
Iâm pretty sure most readers are going to be frustrated to the extreme with Mr. Rock Starâs push and pull, canât make up his mind, absentee behavior for the beginning part of this book. I know I was. I wanted to hit him over the head so maybe he would finally fucking take responsibility. Not in a distant âIâll be there when I canâ way, but in a present at all times way. Does that make sense?
Thank goodness for Jimmy.
See, I knew I loved Jimmy for a reason.
I will have to admit things do turn around and Ben does make changes. I get why he was all confused, it was believable to me, but damn. What the hell, Ben? Then there is Lizzy. Lizzy who just found out she is having a baby, who feels all alone, who is confused and whoâs hormones are going apeshit crazy with lust and maybe a tad bit of inadequacy. She wants Ben, she wants him to be there for her, she even still wants to jump his tatted up, bearded bones all the time, but she is totally willing to do it alone if she has to. How can you not sympathize with that?
Deep wasn't exactly what I was expecting. There seemed to be more drama and less humor, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. Mal is his usual quirky yet charming self and he is loyal to the extreme to his girls. Through everything he has Lizzyâs back and pretty much makes Ben dig in deep and prove himself. I could have done without Benâs ridiculous, mean spirited sister, but she did bring about Lizzy finally drawing a line in the sand. Of course, the HEA was beautiful, very sigh-worthy. I think my only real issue was that it took awhile for them to get to the point where I even believed they had feelings for each other that weren't because of the baby.
It kind of makes me a little sad to see this series end. I have to wonder if Ms. Scott will somehow create a spin-off series of some kind with a few of the characters from Deep. Maybe Vaughan? I have a feeling the sister will show up later, and Iâm not quite sure how I feel about that. All in all, I did enjoy the ending to the Stage Dive series. Not my favorite, but still a very good read. Final Grade- B

So Iâd been knocked up by a rock star.
Big deal.
Deep breath. Okay.

âSheâs the girl you put a baby in, asshole. And if sheâs been going through half the shit Lenaâs been dealing with, then you are just about the lowest cunt I've come across in a long time for making her do it alone.â
See, I knew I loved Jimmy for a reason.
