DNF 5% - I'm over this series and they way this book started was awful.
Loved the book, had some trouble getting into the story at first because Lizzy kept saying that she was in love with Ben from the get go and instalove is just hard for me to believe in. But then after a while, I enjoyed the book. Loved Mal in this book, but how could you not? I also like that the book gives you perspective on the timeline, it starts with the date Ben and Lena had, then goes onto Mal and Anne's wedding and then we get to see the behind the scenes life on tour. We get an update of every couple from the previous books, and I just loved that.
So 4 stars because of the instalove, but otherwise, I loved the book.

I really like Lizzy but Ben was a total fuck face who really didn't manage to redeem himself. It ended too soon after things were magically resolved that it is difficult to believe that it is actually a HEA and not just a HFN.
I love this series so much! Each member of stage dive is amazing and very easy to get attached too and it is even easier to fall for the strong women they love. Incredibly sexy, laugh out loud funny I had no problem reading all four books in less then a week. I sorry there are only four and would definitely recommend them to everyone!

I jumped right in to the Stage Dive series with book 4 and was unfortunately a little lost with the characters and the character development. I think my enjoyment of the series would have increased if I had started from the beginning. Lizzy was blown away the first time she met Ben and the fact that he was rock star famous didn't impress her. She loved their conversations and how their friendship grew. One night of passion in Vegas led to a little accident and in nine months Bean will be making an appearance. But Ben and Lizzy are on completely different pages when it comes to any kind of future. Can they come to an agreement or will neither of them find the happiness they're looking for? Fun read but a little lacking for me.
Ok, I was seriously in need of a good trashy novel, and this series definitely filled the need!
This series is hilarious, but the heroines are so young and Lizzy is the youngest of all. She's twenty-one and got knocked up by a rock star who wasn't interested in ever being in a serious relationship or having kids. It's really hard to believe that they're actually en route to a happy, committed relationship; they're both so young and flippety. So, like, the book itself was a delight, but the actual plot wasn't terribly believable.

Deep was a really great addition to the series, though I'd love to see one more to kind of wrap it all up. Though I used a lot of quotes in this review, there aren't any spoilers, I just want to show how fun it is!
Deep by Kylie Scott features Stage Dive's mysterious big bearded bass player, Ben, and Anne's little sister, Lizzy. Lizzy is a 20 year old college student studying psychology, and she has the hots for 28 year old Ben. But Ben has been warned by Mal to stay away from his little sister-in-law at all costs. But when Lizzy got his number and started texting him, a close but secret friendship formed. I loved their text conversations! When they see each other at the wedding, it's hard to stay away from each other.
The result of the one night they spent together will last forever.
Luckily, she doesn't try to hide it, Ben finds out right away. With an audience.
Ben loves his life as a musician. He loves having no responsibilities, and being able to sit in with random bands and play any time he wants. He's living the dream, and he's not willing to let it go, no matter how much he likes Lizzy. But he will make sure she and the bean are taken care of.
Ben and Lizzy try to find a way to be friends, and he asks her to join them on tour so he could keep an eye on her.
Though Ben wanted to only be friends, Lizzy wanted more, so much more. And it was obvious that Ben felt strongly about her as well. And he wanted to do the right thing.
I absolutely LOVED Liz. She was one of my favorite female characters. In fact, she was a little like a female Mal, but not quite so over the top. But her inner monologue cracked me up.
Ben was no doubt attracted to her.
But he turned Liz into a horny stuttering fool.
I loved that we really got to see the other characters we know and love in this series, especially more Mal. He's awesome as the protective big brother!
And I loved the group of girls and the close friendships formed. I really hope we see a spin-off series with Vaughn or Sam, because I can't get enough of Kylie's fun and sexy writing.

•The realistic attitudes of the musicians. I loved how Ben expressed his love of playing, and how Vaughn expressed his exhaustion.
Dislikes:
•I wish we got to know Ben a little more.
•I would have liked more of a series wrap up at the end, hopefully we will see more in future spin-offs.
•As much as I liked Lizzy's feisty personality, I didn't like that she was so willing to do nothing while they toured.
•The end felt a little rushed, I would have liked more together time.

“Ah, no. I’m actually not. Now see, this is where we have a problem.” I folded my arms. Then unfolded them because like fuck I’d look defensive. He was the one in the wrong, not me. “You’re not prepared to take me, or my feelings, seriously. What you want is to hide away in Mr. Too Cool for Commitment land and just play with my affections when it suits you. Okay, I’ve accepted that. But none of that means it’s okay for you to come in here and act like you’re the boss of me. None of it.”
“That so?” he asked, leaning down so that we were almost nose to nose.
“That’s so, baby.” I play-punched him in the shoulder, which it should be noted, I barely came up to. Okay, so maybe the alcohol on a mostly empty stomach had made me slightly/lots braver/sillier. “So why don’t you take your little caveman jealous tantrum bullshit somewhere else. See, I do this funny thing I like to refer to as whatever the fuck I want. Understand?”
He just stared.
“And as pretty as you are with your beard and your muscles, you are too damn tricky and . . . complicated and shit for me.”
“I am?”
“Yes, you are. Are you finally seeing my point here?”
“You bet.”
“Excellent. So take your hotness elsewhere, kind sir. I want no part of it!” Huh. I had so told him. Drunken bravado was the best.

Deep by Kylie Scott did not disappoint. It was great end to an awesome series, and Lizzy is one of my most favorite characters. Her inner dialogue was so funny and relatable, I want to be friends with her. Big, bearded and sexy, Ben had a realistic reaction and attitude, and I like that he took his time without being a total ass for long. I read the book in one sitting and hugged my kindle in the end. I love these characters, and I hope we see more in future spin-offs.
