I usually don't like accidental pregnancy books BUT this book was okay because I knew that going in.

The build up of their relationship could've been a bit more established. The characters needed more depth for me so the book wasn't just about the pregnancy.

Mal and Anne are still my favourites so I loved their involvement in this book.

Again, I love the dynamics with the band.

I love the characters in this series and every story shows how they get over their own personal hurdles and the hurdles they have as a couple. The writing was emotional and grasped me as a reader throughout the book. The book is fun and witty while being dramatic and emotional at the same time.

This is the 4th installament...it was a good story but Jimmy and Lena story still my favorite...I love that troughout all the serie you get glimpse of the other characters and the evolution of their relationship!! If you're looking for some easy not too long story with nice sex scene this is for you

ehhh, a 3.5 star?

Coming off of Lead - which was amazing - this felt almost like a partial epilogue for the whole series rather than it's own novel. So much of it overlaps with books 2 and 3 at times - without giving the reader new scenes, at one point it's just a series of text messages that don't make as much sense if you haven't read the other books - that when the actual "we would like to try having a real relationship since we put the cart before the horse and oops we're pregnant" part of the book happens we get precious little time with Ben and Lizzy actually TOGETHER together (like, I feel like the shit with his sister was very poorly timed for this plot).

Also with this book, I realized that I really didn't have a sense of what the music of Stage Dive sounds like. In both [a:Anna Zabo|6571479|Anna Zabo|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1549823417p2/6571479.jpg]'s Twisted Wishes series and [a:Kristen Callihan|4971535|Kristen Callihan|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1317481324p2/4971535.jpg]'s VIP series, I was able to get a pretty decent idea of what kind of rock music the bands made and understand why people really loved their music, why they were superstars (or, in the case of Twisted Wishes, right on the cusp of superstardom). But with Stage Dive, I wasn't really sure. We got some lyrics and the knowledge that a previous album was a searing breakup album and now the new one was all "i like to bang my wife" (because David writes all the lyrics), but music-wise I was lost. Even for comparison, Van Halen is mentioned as well as Metallica, but not what era Van Halen or Metallica, their sounds changed over the years. So if Stage Dive is a current band (like 2010-2015 era chart topper) who do they sound like - Arcade Fire? Coldplay? Arctic Monkeys? Five Finger Death Punch? (At one point Jimmy sings a Maroon5 cover, do they sound similar?) As a music person, I would have liked to have a better idea. (I've been thinking about this more since Jen Prokop was talking this last week or so about how pop culture references - or not - impact world building.)

So much angst, I'm not a fan of accidental pregnancy, but this was good in spite of that fact.  Lizzy after one night in Vegas with her super crush Ben learns a few months later that she's pregnant.  Her announcement of the fact over dinner was not her intent and she comes the closest to blowing up the band of all the girls.
I didn't love that everyone treated her like a clueless kid at the beginning but thankfully that didn't last for the whole story.  The lack of understanding emotions or commitment for these boys is incredible and Ben is no different, but they all do the grand gesture well.  Personally I think they all should have had to grovel more, but this was still a fun series.

I LOVED this one. But Lena and Jimmy's story is still my favorite. They continued to crack me up in this one, and I love that it was Jimmy giving advice to Ben. Ben was a sweetheart when he wanted to be, but he seemed much more like a big brother than a sexy, romantic love interest.

But Ben made my way too mad to give it a full 5 stars. He made quite a few mistakes and Lizzy kept forgiving him...not that she made it easy on him. I blame the pregnancy hormones. Liz was such a trooper through the book. I liked that she put "Bean" first. I would imagine that going on tour while pregnant would be tough, and she managed to do it.

This book was great. I loved the banter and the eventual romance that Ben started to figure out. I'm really sad that this series is done...I want more. I NEED more. With Vaughan and Sam...maybe Martha. But more please, MORE!
emotional tense fast-paced

This is a zero star read how did this series go down the drain it’s like the author stopped caring after Jimmy, this book is so out of character for everyone and then there’s Lizzy’s ex roommate Christy who by the way I’m pretty sure is in a very toxic relationship with her new roommate. Mal and Anne were acting like like Lizzy was a 13 year old getting pregnant instead of a fully mature twenty something year old college student

I really enjoyed this one but just didn't like the characters as much as the other books in this series but still a nice story if a bit short.

I don't know if I ever read a book where the two main characters are less suited for each other. I should have been tipped off when the book started with a pregnancy
