Bc the Stage Dive series is super fun
2023 re-read: in light of the *gestures to the horizon* everything going on in our dysptopian hellscape, re-reading an entire book about a surprise pregnancy for a TWENTY ONE YEAR OLD COLLEGE STUDENT who drops out bc the alternative is "not for her" just feels like nothing I want to indulge in.

Oh where to start!
Ben is just Ben. In all his bad ass, bearded, broad shouldered, broody package. He's such a tough character but so wonderfully written. He's misunderstood and chalked up to being a loner when all he needed was someone to come along and see past all the tough exterior to who he really is. Someone with a no nonsense attitude. Aka Lizzy. Sister of Anne and new sister- in - law to Stage Dive drummer Mal.
When Liz forms a crush on Ben she tries everything to get him to like her back. But with an overprotective Mal is in the vicinity it isn't likely that anything will happen.
Right?
Wrong.
After a night that she majorly regrets she has no way of ignoring the bass player when the consequences of their night becomes something she can't ignore either.
With a baby on the way both of them have to find a way to be together without being together.
But can they do that when both of them are fighting a natural attraction and outside forces in the form of crazy sisters.
A great read and end to a wonderful series. Witty and funny and sexy and just beautiful.

Deep by Kylie Scott is the final book in the Stage Dive series. I am so sad for this series to come to an end because I love these characters. I’m already planning for a reread in the near future because I am that addicted to these. So, so good!
This book starts off with a HUGE reveal. Lizzy Rollins is pregnant. Her sister, Anne, is so upset because she wanted her to have a successful future. Mal, her brother-in-law, is furious because the baby’s father is his bandmate – Ben Nicholson. Poor Ben is absolutely dumbfounded. And the rest of the gang are shell-shocked.
So I’d been knocked up by a rock star.
Big deal.
Deep breath. Okay.
We get a little bit of everything in this book. There is an age-gap as Ben is a few years older than Lizzy. We have the forbidden romance trope because Mal doesn’t approve of their relationship; he knows that Ben is a player with no intentions of settling down. Of course, the “surprise” baby trope is a major plot point in this one. Oh, and a dash of enemies-to-lovers for added dramatics! It is also told in a past-present-past kind of fashion. I feel like Kylie handled that really well. I never got confused or felt like I missed out on anything in their relationship. Her storytelling just flows effortlessly; she is a natural!
“I don’t want to take your freedom. I just want a place in your world. An important one.”
Overall, this series is so worth your time – even if you aren’t a fan of rock star romances. They are witty, laugh-out-loud funny, emotional, and just plain enjoyable.

It breaks my heart that it is over... Awesome series. Loved, loved, loved it.
I didn't like this one as much as I loved the previous volumes, but ''Deep'' was funny and it showed the story about maternity and future parenthood.
Deep was a decent close to the Stage Dive series. Lizzie and Ben's background was well done, and I kind of liked seeing Martha again. I think there's a novella with Sam and her to check out.
I don't know if I ever read a book where the two main characters are less suited for each other. I should have been tipped off when the book started with a pregnancy
The last book of this series full of super rock-star a little crazy (a lot crazy concerning Mal) xD
Apparently, what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas. This is what Lizzy discovers in the worst way when she learns she is pregnant after one night with Ben, aka the rock star allergic to commitment. Even though Ben seems to take it not very badly, Lizzy is not sure that staying together is a good idea. Problem is that Lizzy is almost sure she is in love with Ben ...
The author's style is always great and even if I liked the plot less than the previous ones (too much babies and overdramas !!) but overall, it was nice =)
But, even though I loved this book, I regret that Lizzy end up with Ben, I mean he's a big asshole for 90% of the book (personally even if it's a friend, I would NEVER let someone tell me who I can date !!) and it's not because he's cute for 10% that everything is alright !!
In short, a great series that ends well but FORTUNATELY it seems that there will be a book about Vaughn =D Can't wait for it ><
PS: Oh yeah I forget ... the baby's name is TOTALLY awful xD

Really good end to the series. I'll definitely try some of Ms. Scott's other books now.
