3 stars. So glad to be done with this series. Besides, book 3, this series as a whole isn't that good but I needed to finish them for a reading challenge.
This wasn't as annoying as the first two books but I really just don't like the way Scott writes her female characters. They are all extra thirsty and desperate acting and it just comes across embarrassing to see them fall for the guys while the guys treat them like trash. I also think this series should've been told in both the girl and the guys' point of view. I probably wouldn't hate everyone who isn't Jimmy as much but whatever.
All of that aside, this book was okay. Nothing too exciting and there was way too much of fucking Mal for my nerves. I didn't really like Ben nor Lizzy but I did like their relationship. I liked that they started off as friends first.
Overall, I'm glad to be done with this series and I can finally get these (except for Jimmy's book ofc) off of my shelf.

3.5 stars. Ben disappointed me in this book. Here is this sweet girl that he’s best friends with who gets knocked up with his kid and he runs at almost every turn? Liz drops everything to tour with him so he can be a part of the pregnancy and he basically ignores her? Goodness.
Thankfully he got his head out of his a** SOME of the time.

My favorite things about this book:
Lizzy - she is absolutely hilarious. She's strong, funny, witty, loyal, and she knows what she wants. The stuff that goes through her head is laugh-out-loud funny.
More Mal - so funny! I adore Mal and was so glad he makes a few appearances in Deep.
A hot, tattooed and bearded man. Ben. He's hot. When he finally gets his act together, he's a keeper.
Least favorite things about this book:
Martha - hate her.
I really enjoyed this whole series and I'm so sad that this is the end. This is my favorite rock-star series ever. I highly recommend this whole series!

I liked this book the least out of the four in the series. I feel like we never really got to know Ben, which is problematic seeing he’s the male main character. Unpopular opinion: I normally love (surprise) pregnancy tropes. But here were just too many other things that didn’t quite hold my attention for it to be as good as expected.

I don't know why but I didn't feel anything when reading Stage Dive series (Okay, I only read three of them but you get my point).
I don't feel any chemistry between characters. I really hoped Deep would be different but it's not. And that sucks.
Lizzy had a one-night stand with Ben and the result is pregnancy. What bothered me was a quick, yet sudden love she felt for him. She met him once and fell in love? A crush, I'd understand... but love? And then she says something along ''he broke my heart'', when all he did was not answering to her after he heard about pregnancy. Excuse me???? All you had was a one night stand, so please.
I don't even know what to say about Stage Dive series. I'm still thinking whether I'll read Jimmy's story or not. The story is always rushed...

What a wonderful for story for the remaining Stage Dive member. Ben and Lizzy were a fun couple to watch grow. I love that the author took a more realistic group with Ben's reaction to Lizzy's pregnancy. While it was hard to witness it totally made sense. It seems like the author left things open for more books in this world and I'm really hoping she writes them. Great writing and really enjoyable story.
