I didn’t expect it, but the way I’m feeling right now is exactly how I felt when I read Twilight for the first time at 16. I wish I had finished this book when I first picked it up back then - but maybe it found its way back to me at the perfect time.

I love Wanda so much it hurts. My heart was bursting by the end, knowing that she finally found a home - and that all the love she so selflessly gave finally came back to her. It was everything she deserved.

Stephenie Meyer, I truly wish you never stopped writing. You’ve always had a way of gripping my heart.

Some books indeed don’t leave you - they just wait until you’re finally ready to feel it fully.

I had been sure to give this book 4 out of 5 stars and after some final chapters :) they punched at my heart and changed my mind significantly :(
I had been so reluctant to start reading this because i took this book for a true sci-fi and fantasy book. After started reading it, i realized this is just all about simple and cozy story :) and it was worth every freaking time reading it :)

This is in my top 10 favorite books of all time and I reread it at least a couple times a year.

Is it an unproblematic literary masterpiece? No. Does it make me smile and cry and seethe in anger and think about the nature of humanity? Yes.
